“With over 62% of African countries dependent on natural resources for their GDP, the circular economy is crucial to the continent’s growth. With strategic investments and innovative policies, Africa can unlock a 2.2% increase in GDP, generate 11 million jobs and access a $526 billion global circular economy market,” said Anthony Nyong, Director of the Climate Change and Green Growth Department at the African Development Bank.
