The supervisory committee of the African Circular Economy Facility (ACEF) recently visited these neighborhoods in Côte d’Ivoire’s economic capital to observe the circular economy in practice. In 2025, ACEF plans to add three new AfriCircular Innovators hubs and support three more governments in developing circular economy roadmaps, while continuing to support ACEA in its growth and advocacy activities.
By 2026, ACEF intends to mobilize a further ten million euros to finance growth and advance Africa’s transition to a circular economy. Development partners and private investors can play a crucial role by investing in initiatives that create systemic change rooted in local communities.
