In Senegal, the authorities have implemented a mechanism aimed at reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 30% by 2030. As part of the nationally determined contribution (CDN) of this West African country, the initiative called “co-construction of a low-carbon and resilient development strategy” will be financed by the Agency Française de Développement (AFD) through its Facility 2050 programme.
