At a time when several economies on the continent are taking a closer look at the ecotourism sector, its development at the regional level raises many questions. Christopher Gakahu is the chairman of Ecotourism Kenya, the East African country’s entity responsible for promoting the conservation of the natural environment and the well-being of local communities through responsible travel.
