In 2050, half of humanity will be African. The prospect seems distant but the phenomenon which leads to it is very current. The demographic growth at work in the African continent primarily impacts the cities. Depending on the territory, urban development takes place between 20% and 80% in informal urbanization. This shows the extent of the challenges facing States, local authorities and civil society. The aim is nothing less than to build innovative trajectories for sustainable cities
adapted to African contexts.
