The “Strengthening resilience to climate change-related risks for peace and socio-economic stability in northeastern Côte d’Ivoire” project is an innovative initiative to address the urgent challenges of climate change and its repercussions on human security. Carried out within the framework of a strategic partnership between the European Union (EU) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the project aims to mitigate socio-economic tensions linked to the effects of climate change, while strengthening the resilience of local communities.

Dr Christophe GBOSSOU acted as facilitator and moderator for this round table ( February 5, 2025 in Bouna, RCI), which produced a series of recommendations linked to initiatives currently underway in northeastern Côte d’Ivoire.
