On Tuesday, July 22, 2025, the State of Côte d’Ivoire launched the second call for expressions of interest to identify the direct beneficiaries of the Payment for Emission Reductions around the Taï National Park (PRE) project.

The second carbon payment in Côte d’Ivoire is part of the Emission Reduction Agreement (ERPA) signed with the World Bank’s Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF). This contract is implemented through the Emission Reductions Payment Project around Taï National Park (PRE).
