The African Development Bank (AfDB) is launching the Municipal CFO Initiative in partnership with United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG). This new mechanism, which will be implemented from September 2022, will enable African cities to strengthen the sources of financing for their infrastructure projects with a view to accelerating sustainable urban development on the continent.<\/h3>\n
