Summary: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Locust invasion in East Africa, security tensions in the Sahel exacerbated by the phenomena of desertification: the last few months have repeatedly recalled the importance of the climate factor in crucial issues for the African continent. In addition, the city of Bordeaux will host the Africa – France Summit before the end of 2020, the theme of which will focus on \u201csustainable territories and development\u201d with particular emphasis on issues related to climate change. In this perspective, let us sketch a critical assessment of the fight against climate change in Africa as well as of the French strategy in this area.<\/p>\n
