Today, it is much more a strategic choice for economic sovereignty, social cohesion and protecting the well-being of future generations. By intelligently combining sustainability and independence, Burkina Faso can chart its own course: that of responsible development, rooted first and foremost in its resources and driven by its community.  <\/p>\n<p>Faced with deforestation, soil degradation and the impacts of climate change, Burkina Faso finds itself at a crossroads. In a world where states are increasingly focusing on their national interests, the country must invent its own strategy for resilience and autonomy. <\/p>\n<p>In the United States, the &#8221; <em>America First<\/em> &#8221; slogan ultimately translated into a redirection of foreign aid towards geopolitical priorities of interest to the American nation. In the UK, the <g id=\"gid_1\">Brexit<\/g> was motivated by a desire to regain some control over economic and trade decisions. In India, the &#8221; <g id=\"gid_2\">Atmanirbhar Bharat<\/g> &#8221; policy, launched in 2020, aims for self-sufficiency by reducing dependence on imports.
