The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) has seized the opportunity of the International Day of Forests on March 21, 2023 to raise awareness of the importance of preserving this ecosystem, particularly in Africa, where climate issues are undeniable. The deforested continent is home to the second largest forest on the planet.<\/p>\n
